Is coaching the same as therapy?
Coaching is NOT the same as therapy. In fact, I have both a coach and a therapist. #AllTheSupport
Coaching is a collaborative relationship in which the coach and coachee co-create solutions and plan goals with the client leading the way!
Therapists are licensed to deal with the unresolved past and require a license to do so. Some instances where a therapist would be recommended are handling substance abuse, rape, incest, abuse, suicide, depression and other illness outlines in the DSMV. If at any point an issue arises that is outside my scope of practice, I may recommend that you seek help from a licensed medical professional.

What happens if I don't want to be coached any longer?
This will be outlined in the contract, however, let me just say how important it is that you feel fulfilled by our sessions. If they are not working for you, I can respect that. I would ask that we have a final closeout session at no cost to you and at least two weeks notice.

Why are you called Peace by Piece Coaching LLC?
While I was training for my coaching certification, our instructor shared that a coach once said, “I am not here to fix you because you are not broken.” That really resonated with me! An image of a puzzle just waiting to come together filled my mind. The puzzle box has everything it needs. A puzzle is not broken. It is just waiting for the puzzle master to put it together. A metaphor for life! Together, we will find peace in whatever you want by piecing together your unique puzzle.

Do you offer discounts?
For sure! Please ask about packages when we meet during your first session. I offer discounts for packages, paying in advance and for educators and first responders.
-
Do you accept insurance?
No. However, many jobs do offer their employees money for professional development. Work with your HR team to see if you can be reimbursed.
-
Do you have past or current client references available?
Client testimonials are on the About Me page on the website. After we meet, I’d love to include your testimonial as well!
